Week Thirty Five

Hello Friends,

I hope your weeks are off to a wonderful start.  Don't weekends in the summer seem to fly by?  Here is a breakdown of what our weekend looked like:
  • sweet time with family
  • lovely baby shower (hosted by Josh's family)
  • dinner at Texas Roadhouse (Have you eaten here?...The rolls with cinnamon butter were delicious!)
  • purchased a dresser for baby's room
  • maternity photos taken by sister
We had a great weekend with the folks!  As Josh and I were putting away the shower gifts (and by put away I mean stack things in piles :) ) I couldn't help but daydream about how our little boy would be with us before we knew it.  I still have quite a bit of organizing, cleaning, and preparing to do before he arrives but I'm just trying to take each day at a time.  I've been exhausted lately.  I teach summer school (only half days) then I come home and crash for a few hours.  That has been most afternoons in a nutshell.  Not very productive I know, but very needed!  I'm hoping that "nesting" feeling kicks in soon so I can pump out a few more "to dos".  If not though, the important things will end up working themselves out, right?  I will leave you with the photos my sister Justine took this weekend.

and here's a picture of the lovely photographers:
Thanks Teenie for taking these photos!
We love how they turned out!

Week Thirty Three and Thirty Four

Hi Friends,
I am thirty four weeks pregnant today!  I can't believe there are only six (God willing) more weeks to go!  I am feeling pretty good; just very large and tired.  I think I may have started to waddle while walking :).

Here are photos from our weekend at the cabin:
These dock photos were taken courtesy of my mother-in-law Jackie:
We had a wonderful time relaxing at the cabin with Josh's parents.  We went to garage sales (the best find was a huge box of pretty pinecones for $.25 :)haha), played board games, enjoyed delicious meals together, and took in some sunshine.
Did you enjoy some sun this weekend?  How did you celebrate Father's Day?

Here are a few photos of the papas:

I am overflowing with thanks for these great men in my life.
Happy Father's Day Daddios!
Much Love,
Jen

Week Thirty Two

Josh and I had a lovely Saturday away to celebrate 5 years of marriage.  It was wonderful to drive amidst the rolling hills and open fields and reminisce together.

We drove south and stopped in Stillwater for a few garage sales.
We then traveled to Red Wing for the afternoon.

Here's the baby bump this week:
Hope you all enjoyed your weekends as well!

Cute Clements Family

Meet the Clements: Dan, Amber and Little Miss Nora.  They are dear friends that visited us a few weeks back and I still haven't gotten around to posting photos...until now!  My excuse has to do with the end of the school year and I suppose I could always throw the pregnancy card in there too :).

Here are a few family photos from the park:
