she's a mrs.!

I am proud to announce that my little sister got married on Friday!  It was an unseasonably warm January day...perfect for outdoor photos.  I snapped only a few photos being that I was the matron of honor :).  Their photographer was amazing and I can't wait to see how he captured their day!  I used my mom's camera; so unfortunately I won't be able to share the few shots I took for awhile.

This past weekend my friend/sister-in-law Britta 
co-hosted a bridal shower with me for my little sister.

something special

My Little Sister is Engaged!

Zach asked Justine to be his wife the day after Ernie was born.  We couldn't be happier!  What an incredible week for my family...filled full of blessings! We are so thrilled to welcome "Uncle Zach" into our family.  I look forward to all of the wedding preparations and even more to the marriage of these two beautiful people.  

We love you Zach and Justine!  Congrats!

A Bridal Shower

Meet Susie.  She's a sweet friend from our small group and is getting married in exactly one week!  Just recently we had a bridal shower to honor this very special girl. 

Here are some photos from our evening:

Emilie did a great job hosting the shower.  It was so enjoyable sipping lemonade with fresh rasberries, listening to old albums, and sharing in good conversation with the girls. 

 We also played a game where we had to identify the names of different teas according to their smell.

What a lovely time with lovely friends.

Beth and Jared's Wedding

One week ago today my sister-in-law Beth got married!

Beth used a clipping from her mother's wedding dress to make this adorable floral hair pin.  It really went with her dress perfectly and it served as "something old".
