Earnest's New Friend

One week ago, our family took a happy stroller walk over to the hospital to visit good friends of ours who had just had a baby.  The afternoon sunshine paired well with the feelings in the hospital room.  My dear friend was now a mama!  She was glowing.  Nick was smiling ear to ear.  And their new little guy was content taking it all in.  He is such a handsome fellow!

Meet Isaac Daniel Stromwall:

Mom, Dad, and Baby are all doing great!  I love this next picture.  So much joy!

Earnest really enjoyed meeting his new friend.

Congrats again Stromwalls!  God bless your new family!  May His grace and joy abound in this new season of life!

six months

Hello Friends,
These past six months have been glorious.  Sleepless nights, tasting new foods, belly laughs, breakthroughs, and heart melting kinds of glorious.  We love our little boy.  He brings sunshine to our lives and we are thankful to God for each hour.

Here a few photos from Ernie's 6 month Photo Session:

He loves when Papa comes home from work.  He smiles when he hears his voice greeting us from the door.

 Ernie is getting so strong!  He often props himself up on his straightened arms.  We think he is going to crawl soon.

Ernie loves to play and be silly.  The sillier, the better.  One of our favorite things is hearing his belly laugh!

a sneak peek

Ernie Boy is already 6 months old!  We celebrated with mashed avocados and a new outfit :).  He sure likes avocados, and peas, and bananas.  He has liked every food he's tried so far!

Gemma's Senior Photos

What a refreshing weekend at the cabin...good family time, delicious food, baking, knitting and photography.  My kind of weekend.  Saturday afternoon was spent outdoors enjoying the autumn sunshine and taking Miss Gemma's senior photos.

an autumn outing

This past weekend was predicted to be the last stretch of warm days before the chill sets in.  We took full advantage of the weather by heading to the Minnetonka Apple Orchard.

 Ernie Boy went on his first hay ride.

We also enjoyed donuts and apple cider brats...mmmm.

Our Little Pumpkin

Ernie loved looking at the trees and the people picking apples.  He also loved snuggling close to papa in the Bjorn :).

There are so many things I love about autumn.  Going to the orchard is high on that list.
