Gemma's Senior Photos

What a refreshing weekend at the cabin...good family time, delicious food, baking, knitting and photography.  My kind of weekend.  Saturday afternoon was spent outdoors enjoying the autumn sunshine and taking Miss Gemma's senior photos.

a long weekend

In less than one hour we will be packing up the car and driving north for the weekend.  I love the cabin this time of year!  The leaves may be past their peak but it will still be beautiful.  It's also sweatshirt weather; my favorite!  I'm looking forward to board games, books, and baking an apple pie :).  I'm also eager to take Jemimah's senior photos.

an autumn outing

This past weekend was predicted to be the last stretch of warm days before the chill sets in.  We took full advantage of the weather by heading to the Minnetonka Apple Orchard.

 Ernie Boy went on his first hay ride.

We also enjoyed donuts and apple cider brats...mmmm.

Our Little Pumpkin

Ernie loved looking at the trees and the people picking apples.  He also loved snuggling close to papa in the Bjorn :).

There are so many things I love about autumn.  Going to the orchard is high on that list.
